The schools programme from EarthSmiles.net
EarthSmiles.net wants your school on the team!
EarthSmiles.net’s young team visits schools and gives presentations to students and teachers about climate change, what are the consequences and solutions, and the changes they can make, with the right choices. Student representatives for schools under the programme are invited to training workshops and activity, which includes coordinating recycling activity, organizing events and writing for the EarthSmiles.net website.
We want your school on board - literally on our Green Roots board! Together we can get the Earth smiling again... clean, green and fit to be seen!

Dear Friends of Planet Earth!
Is your school green? Well, with all the awareness on environmental matters, and the fact that it has been a part of curriculum for many boards (though soon to be ommitted from the ICSE/ISC,) schools - and the authorities - can't help feeling that their institutions need to "do something green". Often however, this consists of nothing more than a few awareness marches and attendence at "green" events, for example the recently concluded Greenpeace festival at Salt Lake. But schools can do much more than just sources of awarness or shortlived campaigns. Together with the PlanetPoints Programme, EarthSmiles.net would like to start the process of transforming schools - and colleges - into examples of active and measurable change... Stay tuned for more, or better yet, join us in our effort to transform the planet with a million smiles!
